Getting started
Get from zero to your first signal
Clarvivo is easiest to adopt in a small loop: create a project, install the tracker once, visit the site, and confirm the signal before adding revenue or conversion detail.
Before you start
You need a Clarvivo account, the domain you want to measure, and access to the site’s shared layout or document head. You do not need to change your app’s router for basic page tracking.
If your site is maintained in code, you can also let a coding agent make the installation through the Clarvivo MCP.
Set up your first project
- 1
Create your workspace
Sign in, then use onboarding to name your workspace and add the primary domain for the site you want to measure. - 2
Create the project
Clarvivo gives each project a public tracking key. It belongs in your page source; it is not the same thing as an API token or a payment secret. - 3
Install the tracker
Open Dashboard → Integrations → Tracking Script and copy the project-specific snippet into the shared document head. - 4
Publish and visit the site
Deploy through your normal release process, then open a real page on the configured domain in a fresh browser tab. - 5
Verify the signal
Back in Clarvivo, use the test event in Integrations or open Real-time. A first visit should appear shortly after the page loads.
