Compare what your payment processor recorded against what analytics and ad platforms claim.
Your payment processor or store knows how much money came in. Analytics and ad platforms each have their own version of that number, built from browser events, attribution windows and models. They are never identical, and they shouldn't be, but the size and direction of the gap tells you whether tracking is healthy.
These tools compare exports you already have: Shopify orders against GA4, Google Ads and Meta, refunds against orders, and transaction IDs and currency codes against what a clean dataset looks like. They classify gaps as normal measurement loss, under-reporting or over-reporting, so you know which ones to investigate.
Use the store or payment processor as financial truth. When a platform reports more revenue than you took, start there; it almost always means something is being counted twice.
GA4 revenue doesn't match what Shopify says you took.
Meta and Google Ads together claim more than your store made.
You suspect purchases are being recorded twice.
Refunded revenue may still be sitting in your reports.
Connect your analytics and payment data and see which channels actually produce revenue — continuously, instead of one export at a time.
