Find false conversions hiding on your thank-you page

We safely reload a public confirmation page once and report recognised conversion events that replay without a new lead or order.

Thank-you or confirmation page

Paste a public confirmation page. We load and safely refresh it once to reveal conversions that replay without a new form submission or order.

This tool answers: Can a refresh or revisit create a false conversion?

Enable JavaScript to run the check — the diagnosis itself is free and needs no account.

Why this happens

A confirmation page is often a normal URL a visitor can refresh, bookmark or revisit. If a conversion tag fires on every view, reports grow while the number of real customers does not.

The page can look completely normal, which is why the problem often appears first as inexplicably good ROAS or a mismatch against orders.

How this check works

So you can trust the result — and your developer can verify it.

  1. Observe the initial page

We record recognised analytics and ad-platform conversion beacons on the confirmation page.

  2. Refresh once

The scan uses one harmless refresh; it never creates a lead, cart or purchase.

Common causes and fixes

Page-view trigger
A purchase or lead tag bound directly to the thank-you URL cannot distinguish a new conversion from a revisit.
Missing event ID
Platforms have less ability to collapse repeat events without a stable transaction or event identifier.

Frequently asked questions

Should a conversion ever fire on refresh?
A completed business event should normally be counted once, even when its confirmation page is revisited.
Can this submit my form?
No. It only loads and refreshes the supplied public page.
