Check whether your lead form can produce trustworthy conversions

Paste the public page that contains your form. We inventory the form structure and the tags that fire during a safe browser visit, then separate what the page proves from what needs a controlled test submission.

Public form page

Paste the page that contains your lead form. We inspect its safe, public structure and the tracking requests that fire while the page loads; we never submit a form or send test leads.

This tool answers: Is this form set up to record a real submission instead of a click or validation error?

Enable JavaScript to run the check — the diagnosis itself is free and needs no account.

Why this happens

A form can look normal while the conversion behind it is wrong. Tags are often attached to a submit-button click, a generic page view, or a thank-you URL that anyone can revisit. Those shortcuts make platforms optimize for attempts and errors rather than real leads.

A public scanner cannot responsibly submit an unknown form: it might create a sales lead, send an email, or trigger an account workflow. This tool is useful because it gives an honest first-pass audit and names the remaining proof needed for a real-success conversion.

How this check works

So you can trust the result — and your developer can verify it.

  1. Inventory the public form

We identify visible form controls, submission controls, actions and hidden field names without reading labels or values. That shows whether there is a recognisable form and whether attribution fields are available to be populated.

  2. Read page-load tracking separately

We record recognised GA4 and ad-platform events during a normal page load. A Lead or conversion event before anyone interacts with the form is evidence of an early trigger, not proof that a lead was captured.

  3. Keep the boundary explicit

We never enter data or submit the form. When a successful submission is required to prove a trigger, the result says so and gives the exact next controlled test to run.

Common causes and fixes

Conversion attached to the submit button
A click is not a successful submission. Client validation, network failures and duplicate clicks can all fire a click-triggered tag while the CRM receives no lead.
No attribution field on the form
UTMs and click IDs commonly disappear before the form is posted. Hidden fields or a supported server-side mapping are needed to preserve the acquisition context with the lead.
A generic page-load conversion
A Lead event on the form page before a submission means reporting starts before the business event exists. Bind it to confirmed success instead.

Frequently asked questions

Will this submit my form?
No. It never enters data, sends a lead, triggers an email, creates an account or bypasses CAPTCHA. It audits public structure and page-load signals only.
Can it prove a form submits successfully?
Not on an unknown production form. A real-success test needs a safe test environment or a consented test recipient. The result identifies the exact signals to verify during that test.
Why is a conversion event on initial page load a problem?
A visitor can load a form page without becoming a lead. If a Lead or conversion event fires before a confirmed success state, every view can inflate the platform total.
Does a hidden gclid field prove Google Ads attribution works?
It proves the form has a place to carry the value, not that the value was captured or sent to the CRM. Use the Click ID Persistence Checker and a controlled submission to verify the full path.

A lead only counts when it reaches your business.

Clarvivo keeps campaign, conversion and downstream revenue evidence connected, so a browser event is never mistaken for a qualified lead.
